What Drives Success

The Manufacturing Engineer III is responsible for planning, developing, and improving manufacturing processes that support safe, efficient, and cost-effective production operations. This role independently manages complex engineering assignments, provides technical support to manufacturing operations, and leads process improvement initiatives. The Manufacturing Engineer III partners with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges, improve product quality, and support new product introductions while driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing environment.
  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
  • Provide engineering support for manufacturing operations, including machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding, brazing, assembly, and material handling.
  • Lead manufacturing improvement projects from concept through implementation.
  • Analyze production data and manufacturing performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve complex manufacturing, equipment, and quality-related issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend manufacturing methods, tooling, equipment, and process changes to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Support new product introductions and engineering changes by developing and implementing manufacturing solutions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and engineering change notices (ECNs).
  • Develop work instructions, process documentation, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing standards.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Product Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Support capital equipment projects, automation initiatives, and facility improvements as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.


What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and production systems.
  • Experience with CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience leading projects and coordinating cross-functional activities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI).
  • Experience with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP, PLM, and manufacturing systems.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to frequently move throughout warehouse and distribution facilities.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and hydraulic pallet jacks.
  • Ability to work in warehouse and distribution environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving equipment.


What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $94,000 - $122,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
