Full Job Description
Managing Director - Aviation & Infrastructure Location: Denver, Colorado Hybrid An established project and construction management consultancy is looking to appoint a Regional Director to lead and grow its Colorado operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager, Program Manager or aviation/infrastructure professional who is ready to step into a broader leadership position. The role combines project delivery, team leadership, client development and regional growth , with responsibility for building the business across Colorado. The Role You will take responsibility for the performance and continued growth of the Colorado operation, working closely with existing clients while developing new opportunities across the aviation and wider infrastructure market. Key responsibilities will include: Lead the delivery of major project and construction management assignments. Manage and develop a team of project management, project controls and construction professionals. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and industry partners. Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities across Colorado. Take an active role in networking, client meetings and industry events. Oversee project performance, budgets, schedules, resources and commercial outcomes. Support recruitment and continued growth of the regional team. Work closely with senior leadership on the long-term strategy for the Colorado business. Maintain involvement in project delivery while taking increasing responsibility for leadership and business development. The Person We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience within aviation, airports, infrastructure, construction management or project/program management . You are likely to have: Strong project or program management experience within the built environment or infrastructure sector. Previous experience working on airport or aviation projects would be highly advantageous. Experience managing projects, clients and multidisciplinary teams. Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project financial performance. The ability to build and maintain senior client relationships. Some exposure to business development, proposals or winning new work. Leadership experience or a clear track record of taking increasing responsibility. A strong network within Colorado or the wider Mountain West would be advantageous. This does not necessarily require someone who is already operating at Regional Director level. We are equally interested in speaking with experienced Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and Program Managers who have the leadership capability, client relationships and commercial mindset to take the next step in their career.
