Full Job Description
The Royal Caribbean Group's Global Shoreside Talent Acquisition Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Manager, Talent Acquisition reporting to the Senior Director, Global Talent Acquisition.

This role is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.

This position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Position Summary:

The Manager, Talent Acquisition position drives the talent acquisition effort for their hiring managers in partnership with HR Business Partners and Compensation team. This role leads a global team of recruiters and sourcers while providing direction to aligned coordinators. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies for their stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support) and best practices across global Talent Acquisition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads and mentors a global, cross functional team of sourcers and recruiters.
  • Aligns roles, prioritizes work, sets goals, and provides feedback /coaching, and conducts performance reviews.
  • Manages the recruitment process for complex requisitions for aligned stakeholders.
  • Mastery of various sourcing techniques, including online job boards, social media platforms, Boolean searches, and professional networking sites.
  • Lead strategic TA conversations utilizing internal and external talent market insights and aligned with business/brand's needs and priorities.
  • Capability to conduct talent market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitor hiring practices, and skill gaps in the market.
  • Identifies areas of opportunity and builds solutions. Ability to take ideas, progress them through proof of concept, and implement them at scale.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and business leaders to understand hiring forecasts and recruiting priorities and to fill critical hiring needs in a timely manner.
  • Proactively identify, understand and address areas of opportunities in advance of issues arising. If needed, acts as an escalation pointto resolve any issues or concerns hiring managers and HRBPs may have.
  • Proactively developing and providing executive level reports and making recommendations. Responsible for providing data, insights, and corresponding strategy.
  • Keeps track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and age of requisitions)
  • Utilizing internal insights and external market insights to craft strategies needed to get the talent we need.
  • As a Talent Acquisition SME, coaching hiring managers on TA best practices throughout the recruiting process with a consultative approach.
  • Set high recruitment standards ensuring operational excellence and compliance.


Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of education and experience required.
  • Previous leadership experience with preference for full lifecycle recruitment teams
  • Ability to motivate, coach, train, manage performance, and inspire direct reports
  • 7 years of experience of full cycle recruiting, including experience in a corporate environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, to include solid time management and follow-up
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; can strategically communicate and is adept at negotiation
  • Strong technical and business acumen
  • Excellent professional judgment
  • Independent and self-directed, yet highly collaborative
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, HR databases, Boolean string searches, major job boards (i.e., LinkedIn Recruiter), and social media platforms
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in work
  • Ability to successfully work while under stress and pressure
  • Ability to maintain current knowledge of employment laws and regulations pertaining recruitment and hiring
  • Ability to be engaged with a team and contribute / share ideas and strategies
