JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

The Manager, Sustainability Solutions is responsible for managing and advancing Masimo’s customer-facing sustainability programs, including the sensor recycling program. This role oversees program execution across customer participation, sensor collection and processing, performance tracking, and customer reporting on recycling and waste diversion outcomes. The Manager also supports the commercial growth of the program by developing customer segmentation, go-to-market approaches, program offerings, value propositions, and customer- and sales-facing materials. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Sales Enablement, Operations, and other key stakeholders, this role helps ensure sustainability solutions deliver a strong customer experience, achieve measurable environmental and business outcomes, and are effectively positioned for continued adoption and growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the execution, ongoing development, and growth of Masimo’s customer-facing sustainability programs, including the sensor recycling program.

Oversee the end-to-end program lifecycle, including customer enrollment and participation, sensor collection, sorting and processing, performance tracking, customer reporting, and resolution of operational or customer issues.

Develop data-driven commercial approaches for the program, including customer segmentation, target customer identification, market prioritization, value propositions, program offerings, and go-to-market initiatives designed to increase adoption and support program profitability.

Develop marketing plans, messaging, sales collateral, customer-facing materials, and other resources that communicate program capabilities, sustainability impact, and value to customers.

Partner with Sales Enablement and Training to develop tools, training, and selling resources that help field teams understand which customers to target and how and when to position sustainability solutions.

Collaborate with Sales and Commercial leadership, including direct engagement with customers and field teams, to gather insights, identify opportunities, address barriers to adoption, and support strategic customer discussions.

Partner cross-functionally with Operations and other internal stakeholders to optimize collection, processing, tracking, reporting, and workflows across the program value chain.

Establish, monitor, and analyze program metrics, including participation, collection volume, waste diversion, CO2 mitigation, customer engagement, financial performance, and other measures of program impact; use data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and expansion.

Manage third-party vendors and support the evaluation and piloting of new solutions, processes, and go-to-market approaches to improve program effectiveness, scalability, customer experience, and profitability.

Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

 

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in program management, commercial strategy, marketing, sales operations, product marketing, sustainability programs, or a related field; experience within medical device, healthcare, or another regulated industry preferred.

Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs from planning through execution and ongoing improvement.

Experience developing or supporting customer segmentation, value propositions, commercial offerings, go-to-market strategies, selling tools, or customer-facing marketing programs.

Strong project and program management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, workstreams, priorities, vendors, and deliverables.

Demonstrated ability to translate customer, market, and business needs into actionable programs and commercial initiatives.

Strong analytical skills with experience establishing program metrics, evaluating performance, identifying trends, and using data to inform recommendations and decisions.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to develop effective customer-facing and sales-facing messaging and materials.

Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and drive results across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Sales Enablement, and other cross-functional teams without direct authority.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience within the medical device, healthcare, hospital, or other regulated environment.

Experience with customer-facing sustainability, recycling, circular economy, reprocessing, environmental, or waste reduction programs.

Experience partnering with Sales, Sales Enablement, or commercial training organizations to support field adoption of new programs, services, or offerings.

Understanding of healthcare customer sustainability priorities, procurement considerations, environmental reporting requirements, or waste reduction objectives.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field required. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sustainability, or a related discipline preferred.

Language requirements

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Ability to interpret technical documents, schematics, and written instructions.

Ability to clearly document technical findings and communicate with cross-functional team members.

 

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000 - $155,000 plus benefits.  Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.

This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.

Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and requires the ability to perform standard office-related activities, including frequent use of computers and other digital devices. The role may require occasional domestic travel to support customer engagements, field activities, program operations, training, and other business needs. The position requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking, including the ability to stand or walk for extended periods during visits to customer or clinical facilities.
