Who We're Looking For

Toyota's Data & Technology organization is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Supplier Relationship Manager.

The primary responsibility of this role is to engage with, enable and support the Data & Technology Supplier Relationships to ensure we maximize capabilities, minimize risk, drive performance, process governance, and cost efficiency.

Reporting to the National Manager Supplier Management, the person in this role will govern the supplier relationship lifecycle of our strategic partners.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Provides guidance to procurement and data and technology teams on large scale, enterprise supplier negotiations
  • Supports supplier engagement policies by guiding stakeholders through governance and framework of their supplier engagements
  • Manage/Report on upcoming strategic contract expirations and renewals
  • Reporting and analysis using Ariba to ensure purchase requisitions are coded correctly and invoices are approved in a timely manner
  • Status, coordination and strategy for sourcing events and contract negotiations.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Data and Technology leaders to understand and plan for upcoming business requirements
  • Contributes to and leads supplier management projects and initiatives
  • Promotes cross-organizational and cross affiliate supplier process and practices
  • Document and resolve or coordinate resolution of supplier issues


What You Bring
  • 7-10 Years of experience in IT procurement or supplier relationship management
  • Demonstrated analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively work in a matrix team environment with minimal oversight and maximum flexibility
  • Possess strong project management skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills, superior relationship management
  • The ability to multitask, and have a good sense of prioritization and familiarization with financial modeling
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
