The Role

As Manager, Structured Finance Operations, you will lead the day-to-day operational activities supporting securitization programs and asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP) conduits within Global Wholesale Operations (GWO). You will oversee operational processing, controls, business continuity, data integrity, and process improvement initiatives while ensuring a scalable and well-controlled operating environment.

You will partner with Front Office, Treasury, Finance, Technology, Risk, and Audit teams to support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and business growth across the Structured Finance platform

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day operational activities supporting securitization structures and asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP) conduits.
  • Oversee funding requests, paydown activities, invoice generation, and settlement processes.
  • Ensure operational activities are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with established controls.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and workflow maps.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and support remediation of identified issues.
  • Maintain and enhance operational controls, governance processes, and business continuity procedures.
  • Oversee data integrity, reporting accuracy, and operational controls within SecureHub and related platforms.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor operational performance and provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Support strategic initiatives and transformation programs impacting Structured Finance Operations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, accountability, and client service.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting securitization programs, structured finance operations, ABCP conduits, or capital markets operations.
  • Knowledge of asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP), asset-backed securities (ABS), structured finance products, or related funding structures.
  • Experience managing operational controls, governance frameworks, audit activities, and business continuity processes.
  • Strong understanding of settlement, funding, reconciliation, and operational risk management.
  • Experience leading process improvement, operational excellence, or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and data quality.
  • Experience with SecureHub or related operational platforms is an asset.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
