Job DescriptionNorth America is the largest of Visa's five geographic regions and drives over 40% of the company's total revenue. North America Strategy team works directly with the region's President and other members of the North America leadership team to chart the region's medium-term and long-term strategy, to tackle the toughest strategic questions facing Visa's business in the U.S. and Canada.

The two-year experience is designed for you to receive regular coaching, develop a board network across Visa, and tackle the most difficult and pressing strategic and operational topics at Visa. After two years, you will continue to grow on the strategy team or move to a broader business area at Visa.
The Manager: North America Strategy will:
- Lead or support major workstreams across strategic projects, developing unique and creative solutions that strengthen Visa Inc.'s corporate strategy
- Structure projects and/or workstreams for the corporate strategy team. This includes setting deadlines, creating roles and responsibilities, owning readouts, and more
- Develop rigorous, fact-based, quantitative analyses to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness of recommendations
- Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional staff in a clear, concise, and impactful way
- Participate in and occasionally lead regular strategy and payment focused trainings
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Typically requires experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking or equivalent
- Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry not required, but a plus
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling
- Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior stakeholders and external business partners
U.S. Applicants OnlyThe estimated salary range for this position is $146,200.00 to $ 233,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
