  • Embed AI-native practices into the daily rhythm of planning, prioritization, and execution to accelerate the delivery and validation of "Early Bets" products.
  • Scale team impact by optimizing workflows through AI automation, ensuring the team remains agile and effective while navigating the high-velocity requirements of early product development.
  • Maintain deep, hands-on AI fluency to lead by example, leveraging advanced AI tools to design, develop, and evaluate the quality of engineering work supporting new product initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor engineers on critical, effective AI usage, moving beyond simple automation to sophisticated, disciplined engineering practices.

WHAT you'll do
  • Own the full performance management lifecycle for your team, from setting clear expectations and delivering ongoing feedback to calibration, leveling decisions, and development planning.
  • Partner with product and cross-functional teams to translate ambiguous business goals into strategic technical roadmaps optimized for discovery and high-velocity iteration.
  • Drive the architecture and implementation of new features, breaking down complex problems and delivering high-quality code that serves as a foundation for scalable, high-impact products.

  • Experience leading teams that produce high-quality output on critical infrastructure.
  • Hands-on fluency with AI-native engineering workflows, including tools such as Cursor and Claude, with the judgment to use AI for planning, coding, triage, and technical decision support.
  • A creative, tenacious problem solver with a "get-it-done" attitude.
  • A standard-bearer who takes pride in their work and inspires others to rise to the occasion.
  • Capable of maintaining a positive, healthy team environment that supports and challenges everyone.
