Join our first line risk management team, supporting Macquarie Asset Management's private credit business, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping a strong and forward-looking risk culture across Liquid and Private Credit. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence new products and initiatives while working closely with second-line risk teams to ensure the business operates confidently within Macquarie's risk framework.

In this role, you will act as the primary point person for all regional risk and control matters, including overseeing pre and post trade investment compliance. You will lead targeted risk reviews and controls assurance, developing and implementing policies, procedures, and systems to strengthen the risk framework. You will identify and address risks involved with new products, business activities and projects. Additionally, you will investigate, assess, and document operational incidents, identifying root cause trends and opportunities to enhance controls, while contributing to the Risk & Control Self-Assessment process.
Salary range for this position: $120,000 - $140,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. - 4+ years' experience in risk, audit or a control focused position within the financial services industry and ideally experience within an asset manager
- Experience in private credit and/or collateralized loan obligations would be an advantage
- Strong research and problem-solving abilities for potentially complex matters
- Strong written/oral communication skills and able to interact and influence all levels of personnel
- Ability to take a pragmatic, commercial approach to risk
- Ability to work independently and collaborate globally with a strong attention to detail.
