Full Job Description
Specific Responsibilities Would Include

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager of Product Development to join our Lifestyle division. This individual will lead the product development process from initial concept through order placement, ensuring product integrity, margin targets, and calendar adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development Management:

  • Oversee the full development lifecycle from concept to order placement for woven products across multiple brands.

  • Collaborate with overseas offices to re-engineer styles, offering cost-effective options that maintain design integrity and meet margin requirements.

  • Create and manage buy charts and purchase order creation (POC) charts, ensuring timely issuance of factory POs through international partners.

  • Lead garment and trim approvals during development phase, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.

  • Drive cross functional weekly team mtgs on development status and approval status to ensure deliverable are met for calendar.
  • PLM system experience: management of line sheets and vendor allocation.

Material Development & Tracking:

  • Manage and track lab dips, handlooms, knit downs, and trim submissions in coordination with overseas partners for all development styles.

  • Maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams regarding material approvals and updates.

Sample Management (SMS):

  • Oversee SMS ordering, receiving, sample hanging, and reporting, in conjunction with overseas offices.
  • Communicate timing out to cross functional team members on sample status leading up to deliverable date.

Fit:

  • Attend fit sessions, providing immediate feedback on any substitutions or changes to both internal and external partners.
  • Partner with design to provide quality, workmanship, and fit comments to suppliers.
  • Manage approval timelines for development fits in alignment with seasonal calendars

  • Proven experience managing the full product development cycle, from design concept through order placement.

  • Strong understanding of seasonal calendars and ability to adhere to key milestones.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a track record of driving cross-functional alignment and issue resolution.

  • Prior experience with woven product development; familiarity with outdoor lifestyle and technical products is a strong plus.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented professional with strong organizational skills.

  • Detail-driven and capable of managing multiple priorities across different brands and product lines.

Salary Range: $95,200 – $119,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
