  • Identify and address breakdowns in the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) process, including intake, approvals, supplier setup, and invoicing.
  • Define and monitor operational performance metrics such as PO utilization, Procurement cycle time, request quality, and exception rates.
  • Support escalation management and resolution of complex or cross-functional procurement issues.

Digital Enablement & Analytics
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, workflow tools, and AI to improve intake, triage, and stakeholder support.
  • Support implementation of guided buying capabilities, automated routing, and policy decision-support tools.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify non-compliant spend, track adoption trends, and prioritize improvement efforts.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards to measure procurement performance, including PO utilization, spend under management, and service metrics.
  • Use data insights to recommend targeted actions that improve procurement adoption and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve data quality.
  • Standardize processes and develop operating procedures to support scalability and consistency.
  • Partner across Procurement, Finance, AP, IT, and Sourcing to improve end-to-end process integration and effectiveness.

Compliance & Risk Alignment
  • Ensure procurement processes and improvements align with policy, controls, and audit requirements.
  • Balance compliance objectives with user experience to encourage sustainable adoption.
  • Partner with supplier onboarding and MDM processes to reduce friction impacting compliant purchasing.

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field and 6 years of related experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • Experience with procurement, ERP, or workflow platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, SAP, Coupa, Ariba, Workday, or similar solutions.
  • Knowledge of procurement governance, supplier onboarding, purchasing controls, audit requirements, and policy compliance.
  • Experience implementing automation, workflow optimization, AI-enabled solutions, or digital transformation initiatives.
