Job DescriptionOverviewThe Manager, Process & Performance Improvement is a member of the Engineering Excellence team, responsible for establishing a fit-for-purpose engineering work process, with a focus on continuous improvement and meeting required governance.
Your role- Establish and maintain engineering design processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide governance and oversight to ensure consistency across projects in alignment, processes, and execution.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, innovation, and organizational learning.
- Use data analytics and performance metrics to optimize engineering workflows and decision-making.
- Drive process efficiency through mapping, modeling, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and supervise Engineering Coordinators, including coaching, development, and performance management.
About you- Educational background in engineering (degree or diploma), with a P.Eng. and PMP considered strong assets.
- Minimum 10 years of project delivery experience, including at least 3 years in process improvement roles.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive performance improvements in dynamic environments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing change, teams, and complex projects effectively.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with technical proficiency and eligibility for federal security clearance.
