Manager - Pay Equity Consulting - VirtualThis role is part of the Rewards & Workforce Advisory practice offering consulting services to clients around the globe. As a member of this team and Aon's broader Human Capital Solutions business, you will help empower results for our clients, some of the world's most innovative organizations, by articulating compelling and engaging data-driven stories. You will have direct involvement in and leadership of client engagements, support the business development process, and contribute to building intellectual property.
What a day will look like- Leverage our relationships with thousands of HR leaders at companies around the world to grow our pay equity testing business by sourcing leads and generating revenue
- Stay abreast of pay equity legal and regulatory changes that affect our clients
- Lead client outreach efforts, develop proposals, and close sales
- Advise clients regarding pay practices to reduce the potential for group pay disparities
- Supervise pay equity studies conducted by our data scientists
- Communicate the results of pay equity studies to client leadership and other stakeholders
- Help workforce and HR leaders develop strategies, processes, and controls tailored to their pay practices
- Assisted in developing the operations and personnel required to run a multi-million-dollar business line
Skills and experience that will lead to success- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated knowledge of the regulatory environment governing employment discrimination and related quantitative analyses
- 6+ years of experience in a consulting or client-serving role
- Proven ability to sell professional services
- Proactive, organized, and detail oriented; able to ensure rigor and accuracy while meeting deadlines
- Experienced in basic econometric modeling techniques and able to execute them using common scripting languages, for example, Python or R.
Preferred Experience- Advanced degree in Economics, Statistics, Law, Human Resources, I/O Psychology, or related field
- Experience in compensation consulting, employment law, litigation support, or government
- Familiarity with relational databases
Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position intended for U.S. applicants is $130,000 to $169,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
