Location: Chicago, IL
ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with the Director or General Manager, oversees the daily operations of hospital patient foodservice functions, ensuring that services such as meal delivery, order taking and related functions meet the highest standards of quality, safety and patient satisfaction. The role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, manages staff performance and serves as a liaison between patients, clinical staff and the food and nutrition team.
QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or nutrition preferred.
2. Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization upon hire and maintain current.
3. Two (2) years experience in food service operations.
4. Ability to use PC.
5. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) preferred.
County Specific requirement.
1. County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $66,164.80 to $95,804.80 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
