Full Job Description
The Manager, Operations Analytics is responsible for identifying operational breakdowns and enabling teams to make informed decisions that improve accuracy, reduce friction, and support sustainable growth. As an individual contributor, you will partner closely with Finance, Merchandising/Product, Data, Customer Service, and Operations to investigate complex business questions, uncover root causes, and centralize operations data for analytical use. This role requires strong business acumen to transform complex information into clear, actionable insights that drive measurable improvement.

This position serves as a key driver of operational excellence by leveraging analytics to inform process improvements and enhance profitability. The Manager, Operations Analytics is responsible for establishing, reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on operations data governance and data quality standards to ensure accuracy and consistency across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in operations measurement and advanced analytics, complemented by sharp business acumen and creative problem-solving skills. Success in this role requires close partnership with IT to lead data centralization and quality initiatives, enabling teams to effectively connect and leverage data. This individual must be able to translate insights from complex datasets into clear, tactical actions that drive measurable business impact.

  • Centralize operations data across multiple systems to create a consistent, reliable source of truth.
  • Develop and maintain standardized taxonomies, KPIs, and metric definitions to ensure reporting consistency.
  • Establish and monitor data governance standards, including data quality controls and validation processes.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies through ongoing audits and cross-system reconciliations.
  • Establish standardized reporting frameworks that improve transparency and decision-making across Operations.
  • Drive adoption of standardized data structures across cross-functional partners.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business decisions, identify root causes, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights and executive-ready reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting automation, data accuracy, and operational measurement practices.

  • 5+ years of related professional experience in analytics or data science-focused role, with 2+ years of experience focusing on operations analytics
  • Deep understanding of operational metrics (e.g. cost per package, order to ship cycle time, warehouse utilization, etc.) and experience translating data into actionable insights
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL, as well as familiarity with data visualization tools (Sigma, Tableau, etc.)
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and reporting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with non-technical cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience in developing outputs for testing strategies, estimating impact, and evaluation of results.
  • Strong project/time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and deadline driven.
  • Database query proficiency with a working understanding of data models.
