Manager of Field Service, Site Mgmt
York, PA

Summary - In this role, the incumbent is responsible for planning and managing the field site activities for projects and to ensure execution within safety, quality, time and budget requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Overseas execution of field service scope of projects.
  • Defines standard processes, tools & procedures for the planning and execution of field site activities.
  • Understands technical requirements as well as legal/regional regulations.
  • Identifies, hires and assigns site managers and supervisors. Provides leadership and coaching.
  • Ensures and facilitates staffing of project sites by site management in line with execution plans.
  • Oversees and controls time recording and compensation of field labor and supervision.
  • Defines and verifies qualification requirements and initiates training measures.
  • Monitors and improves performance regarding quality and safety at site.
  • Supports site activity planning and ensures implementation of standard planning systems and tools.
  • Ensures availability and adherence of work procedures and quality plans.
  • Monitors adherence to cost budgets, identifies risks and initiates corrective actions.
  • Facilitates implementation of good practices and lessons learned across field sites.
  • Supports site management in implementation of site layouts, site infrastructure and tooling/fixtures.
  • Oversees site purchases and sourcing.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience as Supervisor and/or Manager
  • Previous experience as site manager or supervisor on Hydro Turbine/Generator Project.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, schedules and budgets
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fully computer literate MS office suite
