Full Job Description
The Manager - Marketing Operations supports the delivery of data-driven marketing initiatives by managing key platforms, tools, and processes that enable campaign effectiveness and performance visibility. This role leads a team responsible for maintaining marketing automation systems, building dashboards, and delivering actionable insights to support tactical decision-making across marketing and sales. The manager ensures data integrity, process consistency and alignment with enterprise data initiatives. Through strong collaboration and technical knowledge, this role plays a key part in optimizing the marketing function and enabling scalable growth. Essential Functions: • Assist senior leaders in defining and implementing a marketing measurement framework that supports tactical decision-making and aligns with business objectives, ensuring consistent execution against defined KPIs. • Manage the integration and maintenance of marketing automation platforms and tools, applying technical knowledge to support campaign execution and data accuracy. • Lead a team of marketing operations professionals, assigning work, setting priorities, and providing coaching to support both team performance and individual development. • Develop and roll out standardized marketing processes and governance models, improving operational efficiency and ensuring consistency across campaigns and systems. • Oversee the build and maintenance of marketing dashboards and reporting mechanisms, verifying data accuracy and enabling visibility into performance for internal stakeholders. • Support the development and maintenance of a business intelligence (BI) engine to enhance data governance and ensure reliable insights across the multi-touch customer journey. • Deliver ongoing analytics and insights to marketing and sales teams, guiding tactical adjustments and supporting data-informed decision-making. • Manage marketing data ownership and alignment with enterprise data initiatives, ensuring compliance with governance standards and supporting cross-functional data integrity. • Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance work efficiency and optimize business operations by automating routine tasks to improve accuracy, save time, and minimize errors. Utilize AI-driven insights to refine decision-making, elevate customer experience, and boost team productivity while ensuring its application provides measurable value, driving innovation and smarter ways of working. Stay informed on AI advancements to drive continuous learning and scalable growth opportunities Minimum Requirements: • Undergraduate degree and 6+ professional related experience/ proficiency, 1+ management • Experience implementing and maintaining marketing automation platforms • Data-driven approach and highly analytical • Experience in marketing reporting and dashboard development, analysis and delivery, including using data from sources (example MAP, SFA, Web analytics and/or finance resources) • Significant project management expertise in process creation, delivery and monitoring, particularly in the area of service-level agreements • Clear and effective communicator, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and collaborating across departments. Preferred: • Salesforce experience • Demand creation/field marketing experience • Prior sales and/or finance experience • Experience with measurement/dashboard creation in non-U.S. markets Location: This role is based out of our Wilmington, NC or Lehi, UT office on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote). The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The base salary range for this job is: $81,600.00 - $138,700.00
