Full Job Description
Position Summary: Ingram Micro is seeking an ITAD Technology Engineering Manager to lead technology-enabled solutions that improve IT Asset Disposition operations, asset tracking, data sanitization, secure chain of custody, workflow automation, reporting accuracy, compliance, and scalability. This role partners with Operations, IT, Application Development, Compliance, Quality, Security, Client Services, vendors, and business leaders to design and implement practical solutions across ITAD, lifecycle services, depot services, repair, refurbishment, remarketing, recycling, and reverse logistics.

What You'll Do
  • Lead technology engineering initiatives that improve ITAD efficiency, asset visibility, data security, compliance controls, customer reporting, and operational performance.
  • Translate business, customer, compliance, and operational needs into requirements, process designs, user stories, system enhancements, and implementation plans.
  • Partner with IT, Application Development, Operations, Compliance, Quality, Security, and Client Services to enhance asset tracking systems, erasure platforms, workflow tools, dashboards, and automation solutions.
  • Design scalable processes for serialized asset tracking, secure chain of custody, audit-ready reporting, certificates of erasure and destruction, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on workflow automation, system modernization, data wiping infrastructure, reporting improvements, process governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, system gaps, compliance risks, data quality issues, labor inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, priorities, stakeholder alignment, risks, dependencies, communications, and post-launch support.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology engineering, systems implementation, operational engineering, business process improvement, ITAD, lifecycle services, reverse logistics, manufacturing, repair, refurbishment, or related operations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technology, engineering, systems, or process improvement projects from requirements through testing, implementation, adoption, and support.
  • Working knowledge of asset tracking, serialized inventory control, workflow systems, data quality, reporting, process governance, and business requirements documentation.
  • Ability to create requirements, process flows, user stories, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, standard work, training materials, and implementation documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in IT Asset Disposition, data sanitization, depot repair, asset redeployment, remarketing, recycling, field services, lifecycle services, supply chain, or reverse logistics.
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-88, Blancco or comparable erasure platforms, destruction workflows, certificates of erasure/destruction, audit documentation, and chain-of-custody requirements.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, R2v3, e-Stewards, quality, environmental health and safety, information security, or related compliance programs.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, ERP, WMS, workflow automation, operational dashboards, process mining, AI-assisted analytics, machine vision, or business intelligence tools.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, project management, business analysis, product ownership, continuous improvement, or change management experience.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $105,500.00 - $179,400.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
