The team acts as a strategic advisor across marketing, product, and experience - helping influence business strategy, strengthen customer proof points, and ensure TD's brand is protected and delivered through the customer experience.
Job DescriptionReporting to the Senior Group Marketing Manager, the
Integrated Marketing Planning Manager, Everyday Banking is responsible for driving the full acquisition marketing strategy for one of the bank's largest consumer businesses. This role leads high-impact, full funnel, national marketing campaigns that connect client needs, business objectives, and innovation to accelerate growth. The ideal candidate brings a strong strategic marketing mindset, exceptional cross-functional leadership, and a passion for creating bold marketing and developing client experiences that are remarkably human and refreshingly simple.
- Marketing Strategies and Plans: Understand market and growth drivers, develop a vision of market, channel, and segment potential, help to develop value propositions and proof points that further our competitive advantage, and translate business strategies into marketing plans.
- Build and protect the brand: Ensure marketing, product messaging, and customer experiences support TD's brand promise and deliver experiences that are remarkably human and refreshingly simple.
- Deliver and Monitor Results: Deliver initiatives on plan, measure business and customer outcomes, evaluate in-market performance, and use results to optimize ROI and inform future product, experience, and capability priorities.
- Consumer Insights and Trends: Leverage market research and apply client insights to marketing initiatives. Interpret industry environment, demonstrate thought leadership and provide courses of action and best practices to improve our overall client experience.
- Analysis and problem solving: Define the business or customer problem to solve, gather data across teams, translate insights into recommendations, and drive action with strong judgment and strategic clarity.
- Influencing and relationship management: Build trusted relationships with Product, Digital, Analytics, Delivery, Business Units, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing partners to align priorities and deliver effective programs.
- Budget and Project Management: Manage projects in the most effective way (on time, on target, on budget) from initiation to completion. Lead cross-functional teams and agency partners through each project, proactively identifying and escalating challenges as needed. Track and manage budget against plan, meeting all financial reporting requirements.
Job Requirements - Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
- 7+ years relevant experience
- A self-motivator with excellent organizational and communications skills to influence, prioritize and multi-task in a collaborative or independent setting
- Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing principles, channels, and disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry, and product/customer markets and proven ability to drive business results
- Experienced in relationship management, work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions including agency and internal partners
- Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
