Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Manager 2/Physical Security Manager for the Woodland Hills site. The candidate will be responsible for leadership and management of all physical security issues and 27 direct reporting security professionals at the Northrop Grumman facility in Woodland Hills, CA. The Industrial Security Manager 2/Physical Security Manager supervises all aspects of the Division’s physical security requirements, including but not limited to; supervising the daily operations of all guards and receptionist (both proprietary and contract); coordinates and administers use and maintenance of security and fire alarm systems and related system testing and records management; radio system; fire protection; Detex and security patrols and related record  keeping; visitor control (ESIS) at gates and lobbies and associated records; property control; ERT coordination; asset protection oversight; preliminary property related investigations; purchase order oversight for contract security/document destruction/radios/golf carts; required training for guards including First Aid/CPR; Bloodborne Pathogens and AED and Foreign visitor coordination. 

As the Physical Security leader, the selected candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with program management, program personnel, facilities, external security professionals, and contract security personnel.  The candidate may participate in business development activities and plan security support for future business. The candidate will execute a physical security labor and capital budget and work closely with leadership for any deviations. This position also includes Emergency Preparedness / Contingency Planning responsibilities.

In addition to this functional expertise, the successful candidate will possess strong people-leadership skills, superior communication skills, and collaborative attitude. The successful candidate must have the ability to provide challenging assignments, foster an inclusive work environment characterized by mutual respect and the valuing of differences.  This manager must build a culture that balances caring and accountability and motivates employees to achieve their highest levels of performance.  The successful candidate must be customer and team oriented and be a working manager functioning with minimal direction but provide a high level of upward communication.

This position reports directly to the Woodland Hills Site Security Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

Active Secret security clearance.

Ability to travel up to 10%.

8+ Years of physical security, industrial security, or relevant experience with Bachelors; or 6+ Years of physical security, industrial security, or relevant experience with Masters; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Strong skills in team building.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree.

Professional security certifications such as ASIS CPP or PSP.

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
