Location Overview

Cboe HQ is located in the historic Old Post Office district, it's a landmark that blends classic architecture with modern amenities. Role Overview

The Manager, Index Market Data will serve as the dedicated product manager for Cboe Global Index Feed (CGIF), Cboe's real-time index data distribution platform and one of the fastest-growing segments within our Market Data & Access Services business. Reporting to the N. American Head of Market Data & Access Services, this role is responsible for executing on CGIF's commercial strategy - driving revenue growth through product development, pricing / policy management, and channel expansion across our index partner network.

The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of market data licensing with a strong understanding of how indexes are used throughout the trading ecosystem - from derivatives pricing and Index/ETF administration to wealth management and retail brokerage platforms.

Someone with a background in market data commercialization, index products, and/or derivatives will be well-positioned to thrive in this role.

Your Responsibilities Will Be

Product Strategy & Commercial Management
  • Own the CGIF product roadmap, identifying growth opportunities across channels from our index partners
  • Develop and manage licensing policies, fee schedules, and usage-reporting frameworks across user, enterprise, non-display, and distribution fee categories
  • Monitor user counts, revenue trends, and channel health to inform pricing and product decisions; identify and escalate risks or opportunities as they arise
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on CGIF licensing, fielding escalations from Sales, Legal, and client-facing teams


Business Development & Go-to-Market
  • Partner with Sales to develop targeted account plans for prospects with particular focus on wealth management firms, international brokers, and emerging fintech platforms
  • Support client onboarding and licensing negotiations, translating complex policy into clear commercial terms
  • Engage directly with redistributors, vendors, and end-clients to understand evolving data needs and ensure CGIF remains competitively positioned
  • Coordinate with Marketing to develop client-facing materials, value proposition messaging, and channel-specific collateral


Business Analysis & Operations
  • Analyze competitor fee structures and benchmark CGIF pricing to ensure competitive positioning and identify opportunities
  • Assist in drafting and maintaining commercial contracts, usage policies, and regulatory filings in coordination with the Legal team


The Ideal Candidate Has

  • 8 years of experience in market data licensing, index product management, or a related financial services role
  • Strong understanding of how real-time index data is consumed across derivatives, ETFs, wealth management, and retail brokerage platforms

Salary Ranges (applicable for US locations only)
At Cboe, we are committed to providing a competitive, transparent, and market-informed total rewards program. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $121,550-$157,300, with actual compensation determined by job-related factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location.

This role may also be eligible for annual incentive compensation and, where applicable, participation in Cboe's long-term equity programs.
