Position SummaryThis position assumes the role of embedded HP Manager for their assigned business unit(s). This position partners with business unit executive and leaders to develop and implement HP strategies. This position requires a skilled communicator able to engage at all levels, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, combined with an ability to coach and provide a high level of service. This position serves a trusted advisor providing broad-based professional human resources expertise and consulting. Providing HP support with the highest level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
This advanced professional-level position with within MultiCare's Human Potential Division. Work situations require strong customer service focus, leadership, effective dispute resolution, critical thinking, initiative, independent judgement in decision making a professional work ethic and effective interpersonal and presentation skills. The role requires a mix of HR, labor relations, finance operations and leadership. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in related field or four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Recognized human resources professional certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, etc.)
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in Human Resources
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
- Experience in interpretation of personnel policy and managing a wide range of employee issues
- Continued pattern of learning and growth in career
- Consulting Experience

Pay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $104,665.60 - $150,612.80 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
