Role Summary

Global System Integrators are a core company bet and critical to establishing Temporal as trusted infrastructure for the world's largest enterprises - building enterprise credibility, accelerating adoption across strategic workloads, and scaling Temporal through the firms that architect, build and modernize their most critical systems. As Manager, GSI Partnerships, you'll own a focused set of strategic GSI relationships and build the full business model around them across sell with, sell to, and sell through.

This is a builder role for someone who combines alliance leadership with demonstrated enterprise-selling instincts. You'll work across GSI executives, global alliance teams, practices, industry groups, and account teams to turn a small number of high-potential partnerships into meaningful sourced & influenced pipeline, consumption, and customer outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to shape a core company bet from the ground floor, with high visibility and meaningful ownership over how Temporal builds enterprise credibility, accelerates adoption, and scales through the world's leading GSIs.
What You'll Do
  • Own and grow a focused portfolio of priority GSIs, building multi-year joint business plans and executive relationships that translate into measurable pipeline, consumption, and customer outcomes
  • Make Temporal strategically relevant inside each GSI by driving internal adoption, practitioner enablement, and, where appropriate, Temporal-powered managed services and repeatable offerings
  • Align Temporal sellers with GSI account, industry, and practice teams; map strategic accounts; source and shape joint opportunities; and orchestrate co-sell execution from account planning through close
  • Create repeatable routes for GSIs to resell, package, deliver, and operate Temporal as part of broader transformation programs and managed services
  • Develop high-leverage joint GTM and solution plays around priority use cases and industries, partnering with a Technical Services, Product, and Marketing to turn partner capabilities into repeatable offerings
  • Navigate large, matrixed GSI organizations to build executive sponsorship and activate the field, while serving as the internal voice of the partner across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Establish a rigorous operating cadence for each partnership, including pipeline inspection, joint account planning, enablement and practitioner goals, project delivery, and business reviews; operate as a force multiplier for Temporal sellers
What You'll Bring
  • 7+ years in strategic partnerships, alliances, enterprise sales, and/or business development, including significant direct ownership of one or more top-tier GSI relationships and a track record of turning those relationships into sourcing engines
  • Proven experience building and executing sell-to, sell-with, and sell-through motions with large RSIs or GSIs, spanning internal adoption or managed offerings, field co-sell across strategic accounts, and resale or delivery motions
  • Demonstrated enterprise-selling instincts: you can identify opportunity, shape deals, mobilize account teams, inspect pipeline, and partner effectively with sales leadership to move complex opportunities forward
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, matrixed global organizations and build relationships from alliance leaders and practice executives to field sellers, account leaders, and delivery teams
