Job Title: Manager, Global Marketing (Cosmetics) L'Oreal Paris US DMI

Location: 10 Hudson Yards, New York, NY

Division: Consumer Products Division (CPD)

Reports to: Assistant Vice President, Global Marketing - L'Oréal Paris Makeup US DMI HUB

What You Will Do: As a Manager, Global Marketing (Cosmetics) L'Oreal Paris US DMI, you will be the strategic architect of the US category growth plan. You will influence global master plans to ensure US market needs are captured and lead the end-to-end development of US-specific innovations.

Strategy & Vision:
  • Lead the development of the US Category Growth Plan.
  • Exert strategic influence over the Global Master Plan to ensure US consumer insights and market requirements are prioritized.
  • Partner with US Marketing teams to ensure successful adoption and execution of the strategic vision.
  • Manage key country relationships and high-level communications for the Makeup category.
  • Prepare and lead strategic presentations for Senior Management and Key Retailer Innovation Meetings.


Project Management & Product Development:
  • End-to-End Ownership: Manage the product portfolio from concept to shelf with full accountability.
  • Concept Development: Draft and adapt product concepts specifically for the US market landscape.
  • Economic Steering: Manage financial and economic equations in collaboration with US and DMI Finance teams.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with R&I and Industry teams to ensure manufacturing excellence.
  • Brand Identity: Lead the artwork process, including packaging design and adaptation.
  • Trend Decoding: Identify white-space opportunities and rising trends to future-proof the product pipeline.
  • Product Excellence: Own the development of US formulas, shade names, claims, and star ingredients.


Consumer Market Insights (CMI):
  • Coordinate comprehensive research plans to validate new innovations.
  • Directly participate in US Focus Groups to gain deep consumer intimacy.


Content & IMC:
  • Consult on Global and US-specific Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) development.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Scientific teams for US claim validation and approvals.


Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of marketing experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or the Beauty industry.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Makeup Metier and overall category dynamics.
  • Proven Track Record: Experience successfully managing a product through its entire life cycle (launch or renovation).
  • Agility: Ability to manage challenging projects and pivot strategies based on market performance.
  • Communication: Strong prior experience in Operational or Global Marketing; exposure to international markets is preferred.
