Full Job Description

The Manager, G&A Accounting is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of On Location's corporate General & Administrative (G&A) functions. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Reporting & Consolidation, this role leads the accounting close for assigned corporate functions, maintains the integrity of key balance sheet accounts, and partners across Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Legal, Technology, Payroll, Treasury, Tax, and Shared Services to ensure accurate financial reporting and a strong internal control environment.

As a key member of the Controllership organization, this position supports the Company's monthly close and financial reporting processes while driving process improvements, standardization, and operational excellence across corporate accounting activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly accounting close for assigned corporate G&A functions, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and close coordination.

  • Support the Senior Manager, Reporting & Consolidation with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting deliverables.

  • Coordinate close activities with business unit accounting teams to ensure shared overhead and corporate accounting activities are accurately reflected in the consolidated financial statements.

  • Partner with Finance Business Partners and operational leaders across Corporate, Core, and Olympics to understand business activities, explain financial results, and support budget and forecast discussions.

  • Maintain ownership of assigned balance sheet accounts, including preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, investigating reconciling items, and maintaining complete, audit-ready supporting documentation.

  • Manage the accounting for assigned corporate functions, partnering with Accounts Payable, Payroll, Procurement, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate expense recognition, timely invoice processing, month-end accruals, and accounting for employee travel, purchasing card, and other corporate expense programs.

  • Apply accounting policies established by the Controllership organization and support implementation of new accounting standards and business initiatives.

  • Maintain strong internal controls, support internal and external audits, and participate in SOX compliance activities.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes while strengthening controls and improving reporting efficiency through NetSuite and other financial systems.

  • Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned corporate functions, providing guidance on accounting treatment, close requirements, and financial reporting impacts.

  • May provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and review of work performed by junior accounting team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • CPA preferred.

  • 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including responsibility for month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting processes.

  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, media, or other multi-entity organizations is preferred.

  • Experience supporting audits and internal control environments is preferred.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Rate Minimum:

$97,500 annually(minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$130,000 annually
