Full Job Description
What We Need

The Manager, FP&A serves as the critical financial bridge between the Studio, Publishing and other operational partners.

Rather than just reporting numbers, you will act as a Business Partner, working side-by-side with Studio Heads and Operational Partners. You will support 1-2 Studios and be responsible for ensuring that financial models reflect the unique "personality" and requirements of each business line while maintaining the rigor of our global financial standards. You will be comfortable in presenting findings and analysis to leaders, explaining narrative and drivers associated with variances to help influence business decision making. You will be comfortable operating with limited supervision, conferring with senior managers only on highly complex or unusual items outside the day-to-day.
What You Will Do
  • Studio Business Partnership: Act as the primary financial point of contact for 1-2 Studio Leaders and Operational partners. Translate complex P&L data into actionable business narratives that help Studio Heads make informed decisions. You will operate with limited supervision, conferring with senior managers only where required
  • Communication: Present financial analysis to leadership with clarity and impact, clearly articulating key drivers and the "so-what" so as to influence business decision making
  • Collaborative Budgeting & Planning: Drive the Annual Operating Budget process by partnering deeply with Studio management. Ensure that resource assumptions and project plans are grounded in both studio reality and corporate financial targets.
  • Operational Decision Support: Provide Studio leadership decision modeling and scenario planning across lifetime P&Ls and initiatives, such as technology upgrades, studio expansions, or changes in staffing models.
  • Workforce & Capacity Consultation: Partner with HR and Studio leads to model resource utilization. Help leaders understand the financial impact of their talent strategy, including capitalization rates and "staff-up" vs. vendor-model scenarios.
  • Performance Insight: Identify and track KPIs that matter to the business units. Deliver monthly variance analysis that doesn't just explain the "what," but explains the "why" to the stakeholders who managed the spend.
  • Process Implementation: Use practical project management skills to implement financial workflows that integrate seamlessly with studio operations, minimizing friction for creative and technical teams.
  • Decision Authority: Exercises judgment within defined financial planning procedures to prioritize analyses and set assumptions for assigned studios; confers with senior leadership on decisions involving material forecast deviations or enterprise-level policy exceptions
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit
  • Experience:4 - 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, management consulting, or a business-facing finance role (preferably with Gaming or Entertainment industry experience)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; or equivalent practical knowledge gained through industry experience.
  • Mastery of Function: You have mastered all standard FP&A duties (forecasting, variance analysis, modeling) and have a strong grasp of the broad principles governing the gaming or creative services industry.
  • Business Savvy: Proven ability to "frame" financials for non-finance audiences, particularly creative or technical leadership.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint is essential for building the models and presentations that drive business decisions.
  • Project Management: Practical knowledge of project management to lead cross-functional financial improvements across various business units.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders and navigate the unique cultural nuances of a studio environment.
