Job DescriptionAgilent is seeking a
Manager, Equipment Service Engineers to support our Boulder and Frederick, Colorado NASD labs. This on-site leadership role supports Agilent's Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturing labs and focuses on installation, maintenance, repair, qualification, and reliability of Agilent and multi-vendor laboratory systems.
In this role, you will lead and support service engineering activities across two Colorado Agilent ATD lab locations, helping resolve complex instrument challenges without the extensive travel and variability of external client sites.
Responsibilities Include:
- Install, maintain, repair, and qualify laboratory instruments, hardware, software, network products, and configurations at internal Agilent sites
- Diagnose and resolve product performance issues, most often related to hardware
- Perform preventive maintenance and advise users on configurations that may affect performance and reliability
- Document service activities and repairs in computerized maintenance management software
- Support audits by defending maintenance, qualification, and use of lab instruments
- Deliver integrated solutions, including peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software
- Mentor service engineers and instrument users on Agilent instrument systems
Instrument technologies may include, but are not limited to:
- HPLC systems, including 1260/1290, LCMS, QTOF, and BioInerts
- GC and GCMS
- ICPMS
- Flame AA
- UV-Vis spectrophotometers
- OligoPro II Capillary Electrophoresis
QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology or similar
- 5+ years experience as an Agilent Field Service Engineer or similar position
- Experience with the Agilent solutions is required
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving
- Experience with equipment parts sourcing
Desired:- Leadership experience as a supervisor/manager is preferred
- Agilent provided instrument training

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $105,280.00 - $164,500.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
