Job Description

Role Summary
The LDG Global Operations Finance Partner provides financial leadership for the manufacturing and delivery of products across the Clinical Diagnostics, Cell & Biomolecular, and Liquid Phase divisions. LDG Global Operations spans 10+ factories worldwide and supports more than $2B in annual revenue. This role serves as a key member of the Global Operations Finance leadership team, partnering with executive leadership, manufacturing site leaders, value stream leaders, and cross-functional teams to improve financial performance, guide strategic decisions, and enable enterprise transformation.

The role requires a highly collaborative leader with strong financial acumen, executive presence, and the confidence to influence action across a complex global operations environment. The individual should be able to act as an insight engine for the business-connecting the dots across financial, operational, and commercial performance; turning data into clear recommendations; and helping GO leaders focus on the few actions that matter most.

Specific Areas of Responsibility
  • Serve as the primary Finance Partner for the LDG Value Stream Leader and Europe Manufacturing leadership team, supporting growth, margin expansion, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead financial support for executive reviews, including WD reviews, LRP, Strategic Planning Process (SPP), annual operating plans, capital allocation reviews, and CFO staff engagements.
  • Own core financial planning and performance management processes, including monthly close, forecasts, shipments, gross margin, productivity, and operating performance.
  • Partner with business leaders on strategic initiatives, investment prioritization, capital allocation, network strategy, transformation programs, and business cases.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights, clearly communicating key issues, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Division partners to strengthen commercial alignment, revenue performance, and enterprise performance management.
  • Support a global operations network spanning multiple manufacturing sites, value streams, regions, and time zones while driving standardization, best-practice sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Advance reporting standardization, process automation, and data-driven decision-making through SAP, Power BI, advanced analytics, and digital finance tools.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed global finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability, inclusion, and talent development across cultures and organizational boundaries.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, University Degree, or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Typically 10+ years of relevant experience, including progressive responsibility in finance leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of experience leading a global team.
  • Experience financially leading complex global operations, preferably within manufacturing, supply chain, or a similarly matrixed business environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of P&L management, gross margin improvement, productivity delivery, and strong business results.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing economics, supply chain optimization, inventory management, productivity initiatives, capital allocation, and performance management.
  • Proven ability to assess critical business issues, synthesize complex information, and recommend practical actions for senior leadership.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning, LRP, annual operating plans, SPP, capital investment prioritization, and executive-level reviews.
  • Experience leading through organizational transformation, restructuring, system implementations, process redesign, or enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Experience leveraging SAP, Power BI, reporting automation, and digital finance tools to improve business insight and decision-making.
