The Manager, Engineering is responsible for overseeing the design, architecture, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. The scope of this job includes leading a team of engineers and technical experts, driving both technical and operational success, and fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a software development team by fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
  • Oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of key engineering projects, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs and technical requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership to help shape the architecture, design, and implementation of software systems that adhere to engineering best practices, including code quality, automation testing, and documentation.
  • Continuously assess and improve engineering processes from development workflows to deployment pipelines.
  • Work closely with solution managers, designers, and other engineering leaders to define project requirements in alignment with business goals and address any blockers or technical challenges.
  • Set clear goals for team members, conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for skill development and career growth.
  • Leverage AI tools and platforms as an integral part of daily responsibilities to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, and drive data-informed outcomes.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 4-6 years' relevant work experience
  • 1-year relevant management experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Python and Django for developing RESTful APIs
  • Development experience with AWS or GCP
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
