Job Overview

The Manager, Facilities provides leadership to designated stores within the assigned division, executing strategies to enhance the store environment and maintain building standards. They collaborate with store and divisional leadership teams to address ongoing issues and standardize work practices. Additionally, the Manager shares responsibilities with the Senior Facilities Manager for the assigned division, ensuring effective operational support and alignment.

What You Will Do
  • Identify and implement energy-saving opportunities in collaboration with the field and energy teams, operations, and other relevant partners.
  • Foster high levels of engagement among field teams through effective communication, collaboration, education, and recognition.
  • Manage and achieve expense performance targets within payroll and non-payroll accounts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and communication with store, division, regional, and central partners.
  • Coach, mentor, and support the career development of hourly colleagues.
  • Operate and oversee the Service Channel (Work Order System) to ensure effective management of service requests.
  • Analyze work order and preventive maintenance (PM) performance to drive technician productivity.
  • Ensure all repairs and preventive maintenance tasks are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee and coordinate approved projects within the assigned location or division, with support from other Store Environment leaders.
  • Respond to trouble calls from stores and take appropriate action in accordance with facility management procedures and policies.
  • Comply with all company and governmental safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party vendors, including housekeeping, landscaping, and vertical transportation services.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

Who You Are
  • Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.

  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
