Manager, Digital Product

Regular Full-Time

(35 hours per week)

As Manager, Digital Product, you will work in partnership with Brand & Marketing, the Web Team, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop strategies and implement a prioritized roadmap of digital initiatives aligned with organizational priorities. You will provide project and resource management expertise, leadership, and operational discipline to the Web Team, supporting the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, communication, and successful delivery of digital projects.

The successful candidate will also monitor staff performance, support team development through training on digital workflows and tools, and track and report on the success of digital initiatives while making recommendations to optimize strategies and outcomes.

The rate of pay for this position is $89,180 - $111,456 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Digital Strategy & Roadmap: Lead the development and execution of a clear, outcome-driven digital roadmap aligned to organizational priorities. Establish prioritization frameworks and identify opportunities for innovation and platform optimization.
  • Delivery & Workflow Leadership: Manage the Web Team's delivery of the roadmap, overseeing intake, workflow, and execution. Ensure clear scope and objectives, resolve blockers, and lead quality assurance and stakeholder approvals.
  • Performance & Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators, leverage analytics and user insights, and drive continuous improvement through testing and optimization. Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Provide coaching and direction to the Web Team, building capability in modern digital practices and fostering a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven culture.
  • Standards & Compliance: Ensure all digital properties meet accessibility (AODA), privacy, and web standards, and support additional projects as required.

What You'll Bring
  • Post-secondary education in Digital, Business, Project Management, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8 years of progressively responsible operational experience within a digital product management, Information Technology or project management environment
  • 4-5 years managing, developing, and coaching a team
  • Experience managing in a unionized environment is an asset
  • Demonstrated ownership of digital products or platforms with measurable impact on growth or engagement.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, or International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), or similar designation is an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies such as those promoted by Project Management Institute (PMI) and related tools (Asana, Jira, Trello, Omniplan, MS Project)
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, new technologies, web development, user experience and analytics
  • Knowledge of current and emerging web-based applications; familiarity with web standards, AODA, CASL, usability, CMS hosting solutions and website security
  • Knowledge of Drupal CMS, complex databases solutions and content management systems
  • Ability to work independently, determine priorities while performing a variety of different responsibilities with conflicting deadlines, particularly to determine the importance and urgency of issues and respond effectively to fluctuating workload demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including tact and diplomacy
