Full Job Description
About the Role

We are looking for a Manager, Strategy & Operations to join our Dasher Financial team. This role is about building new fintech bets from the ground up - from testing early hypotheses to scaling into category-defining businesses.

As a Manager, you will operate like a GM-in-training: shaping strategy, owning execution, and ultimately building the P&L for a new fintech product line. Early projects may include leading our efforts in lending and credit, but the role will flex to whatever the highest-potential opportunities are for Dasher Financial. This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of fintech innovation inside a scaled platform.
You will:
  • Identify new product opportunities, size the market, and build the business case.
  • Design and run experiments to validate user demand.
  • Own day-to-day execution and work cross-functionally to take ideas from concept to launch.
  • Define success metrics and be accountable for business outcomes.
  • Scale promising products into sustainable businesses that improve Dashers' financial health.

Dasher Financial is an ambitious bet - building fintech products for the future of work. As a Manager, you will have end-to-end ownership of a new product line, from incubation to scale. You'll have the platform and data of DoorDash, but the freedom to build like a startup founder. For someone who aspires to be a GM or startup founder, this is a unique opportunity to learn by doing and build a business from zero to one.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
  • Strategize: Develop the roadmap for new fintech bets and shape how DoorDash serves gig workers financially.
  • Own: Take full ownership of a product line, from metrics to operations to user adoption.
  • Influence: Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, and Marketing to turn vision into execution.
  • Experiment & scale: Launch MVPs, measure user behavior, iterate quickly, and scale the ones that work.
  • Grow as a GM: Build the skills to run a full business line - strategy, P&L, operations, and product - within one of DoorDash's highest-potential growth areas.
We're excited about you because...
  • You have 5+ years of experience in high-growth environments (tech, fintech, strategy & ops, consulting, or banking).
  • You have a track record of taking ambiguous problems and turning them into scaled outcomes.
  • You can take a vague, undefined problem and structure it yourself - without waiting for a framework - and use data to decide what to do (comfortable with SQL/Excel).
  • You are curious and entrepreneurial, and you channel that drive into smart bets and clear priorities in zero-to-one environments.
  • You can flex between high-level strategy and ground-level execution, and you take true ownership of outcomes - you make the calls and are accountable for how they turn out, not just for supporting the work.
  • You actively seek feedback and adjust quickly - you treat learning fast as a competitive advantage.
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Master's Degree preferred but not required.
