About the Job

The Manager, Contract & Commercial Operations is part of the VaxServe Business Operations team. This individual supports the overall goals of the VaxServe organization by leading all aspects of VaxServe's private contracts (Flu and Mainline, including Heplisav), as well as all activities associated with Non-Sanofi Vaccine contract fulfilment. Additionally, this role supports the VaxServe sales teams by providing detailed insights into customer contract eligibility and pricing that aid in maintaining and growing the VaxServe business It also supports Business Operations initiatives across all segments, including training, firewall governance, and other operational needs.

This position requires a highly motivated individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy. This position requires a detail-oriented focus, strong communication skills and financial acumen.

This position is based in the Moosic, PA and reports into the Head of Business Operations & Risk Management.

Main responsibilities:

VaxServe Private Contracts:
  • Manage end-to-end system setup and administration of VaxServe private contract agreements, including the Retail and General Market segment of Sanofi Vaccines, oversee the full contract lifecycle from drafting through execution; partner with sales teams to provide operational support; and ensure all approved pricing updates are implemented accurately and in a timely manner


Contract Admin Mailbox Management:
  • Assist in the management of the VaxServe Contract Administration Mailbox by responding to inquiries from our internal partners. This will include, but is not limited to, eligibility reviews, GPO membership files, CSEG 407/501 linkage report and other contract-related requests


Chargeback Support:
  • Supports the manager of Chargebacks with reconciliations and other tasks, including identifying any issues and root cause for chargeback rejections/variances


Business Operations Support:
  • Identify & recommend process improvements across Business Operations and work with other team members to develop and implement enhancements. Drive cross-training initiatives across business operations, enhancing team versatility and knowledge sharing to ensure continuity, scalability, and consistent execution across key operational functions.
  • Oversee the VaxServe firewall governance program, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of firewall controls; develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs); support the design and delivery of annual and online training; conduct regular firewall testing and validation; and drive consistent firewall training and compliance across all business units
  • Lead end-to-end resolution of aged open credits and returns for strategic and high-priority customers, serving as the central point of coordination across teams; escalate issues as needed, drive timely resolution, and establish standardized processes to expand ownership beyond a single team and ensure consistent execution across the organization
  • Other ad-hoc projects, as needed


About You

Experience
  • 3+ Experience in healthcare industry, pharmaceuticals, or vaccines, with some contracting experience, is preferred

Soft skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be agile/adaptable to changes.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively collaborate and communicate with internal & external partners
  • Detail-oriented self-starter capable of owning initiatives from beginning to end
  • High level of personal and professional integrity with strong work ethic

Technical skills

The salary range for this position is:
$100,500.00 - $145,166.66
