Responsible for departmental procedures and process for construction projects from inception to turnover. This includes preparation of standard work for the following: contracts for construction, contract management, project scheduling, risk planning, construction logistics strategies, operational impact protocols, budget documents, cost tracking and control protocols, safety, Infection Prevention, operational impact, and building infrastructure and support services communication. Accountable for ensuring all construction sites on SCH property (leased or owned) are following standard safety procedures and adhering to all standard protocols developed for signage, infection prevention, Fire and Life Safety, infrastructure use, noise/vibration/odor issues, and operational impact on adjacent spaces and uses. The Mgr, Construction Oversight has direct reporting authority for all Construction Project Managers within Planning Design and Construction, and leads all activities related to maturing construction management people, tools and processes.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
Experience commensurate with degree will be considered.
Six (6) to eight (8) years of professional construction management work experience.
Experience leading/managing complex projects in a healthcare/life sciences environment, along with a clear understanding of the patient care model.
Understanding of Building Management Control systems and Life Safety systems.

Preferred
Previous experience in a management role.
Construction Management Certification.
Compensation Range
$129,992.00 - $194,988.00 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
