Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid Position, in office 2 days per week)

About the Job

As the Manager of Consolidation and Reporting for the OpenTable Brand, you will play a critical role in managing month-end and quarter-end reporting obligations to our parent company. In this position, you will lead the consolidation process across multiple regions and currencies, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate expectations. You will partner with cross-functional finance teams to drive process improvements and deliver comprehensive financial analysis to key stakeholders. By taking ownership of these deliverables, you will ensure our financial reporting is seamless, accurate, and consistently meets tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the consolidation and month-end close process, managing equity, intercompany transactions, and treasury related transactions.
  • Prepare and distribute reporting timetables to align OpenTable brand deliverables with Group reporting requirements.
  • Execute group reporting deliverables within tight deadlines, managing five business day close cycle, reporting workbooks and deliverables, leading the post close adjustment cycle, etc.
  • Conduct detailed fluctuation analysis, providing clear commentary to stakeholders such as the Brand CFO, VP Controllership and Corporate.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Tax, General Ledger, Financial Operations, and Financial Planning & Analysis teams to streamline reporting and facilitate ad hoc requests.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including leveraging new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, to enhance the efficiency and capacity of the consolidation and reporting team.
Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Subject matter expertise and applied experience with US GAAP.
  • Prior experience utilizing financial consolidation systems, such as OneStream.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements or leveraging artificial intelligence for financial analysis.

The expected range of compensation for this position based in Toronto, Canada, is $100,000-$120,000 CAD. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a compensation range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required.
