Job Overview

We are thrilled to announce that we are hiring a Manager, Compliance Accountanting to our high performing team. This accounting position is responsible for monitoring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance within the HUS segment as well as integrating new acquisitions. This position will ensure HUS compliance with Hubbell policies, internal controls, and US GAAP. This position can be located in our office in either Farmington, CT, Centralia, MO, or Saint Louis, MO. This role could require up to 30% travel.

A Day In The Life
• Perform SOX control testing and Segment pre-audits
• Support SOX integration and policy implementation for newly acquired businesses
• Assist newly integrated finance teams in performing controls as they transition into Hubbell requirements
• Provide business process training to operations and finance professionals throughout the Segment
• Identify and communicate with multiple departments to help remediate control deficiencies identified and create efficiencies within the business.
• Support IT projects including ERP implementations and ITGC implementations for new businesses
• Support physical inventory observations and fixed asset counts
• Assist in supporting internal and external audit requests
• Special projects as assigned

What will help you thrive in this role?
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related degree, CPA preferred
• Finance professional with 5-7 years' work experience in a finance role
• Manufacturing accounting experience is highly preferred
• Knowledge of SAP, OneStream and Blackline is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley control and compliance requirements
• Able to work hands on within the various departments of the organization and communicate effectively up the chain of command
• Highly organized with an ability to work well under tight time constraints and simultaneously manage multiple tasks
