Full Job Description
The Manager, Compensation & Equity will lead the day-to-day administration, evolution, and success of CLEAR's broad-based compensation and equity programs. This highly essential role will partner across People, Finance, Legal, and business leadership to deliver market-competitive, equitable, and scalable programs that support CLEAR's exciting growth both now and in the future.

What you'll do:
  • Lead compensation processes across offers, promotions, job changes, market pricing, and pay recommendations in alignment with CLEAR's compensation philosophy
  • Effectively translate CLEAR's compensation philosophy to employees, managers, and leaders, providing clarity and context around compensation programs and pay decisions
  • Own equity administration in partnership with Fidelity, Finance, Legal, and payroll, including grants, vesting transactions, reporting, reconciliations, and employee inquiries
  • Administer our compensation cycles, including promotions, merit increases, bonuses, and equity planning, from design and configuration through audit, execution, and communications
  • Leverage and introduce AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve compensation analysis, market intelligence, process efficiency, and decision-making
  • Maintain Workday compensation configuration and data integrity, including grades, grade profiles, compensation plans, stock value updates, and recurring audits
  • Support compensation training and education by creating clear, accessible resources that help employees, managers, and leaders understand CLEAR's compensation programs and philosophy

  • On-time, error-free execution of annual and off-cycle compensation and equity processes
  • Accuracy and completeness of compensation, equity, and budget reporting and reconciliations
  • Market competitiveness and internal equity of pay recommendations, salary structures, and job architecture
  • Adoption and effectiveness of scalable compensation processes, tools, and manager communications

  • Deep knowledge of market pricing, job evaluation, salary structures, incentive compensation, and equity operations
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills and experience with HRIS and equity platforms, preferably Workday and Fidelity
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to streamline compensation processes, improve analytical efficiency, and enhance data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and discretion in handling sensitive compensation and equity information
  • Ability to translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for People Partners, leaders, and senior stakeholders

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR's total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units.
