What can you expect from this position?Reporting to the Director, Commercial Performance & Governance, the Manager, Commercial Intelligence is responsible for building and advancing the Commercial Intelligence function across GTAA's Commercial portfolio. The role leads the development and execution of the Commercial Data Strategy, establishing key metrics, reporting frameworks, dashboards, and intelligence products that support commercial performance management and decision-making.
Working closely with Commercial, Finance, IT, Data, and Analytics teams, the Manager translates business priorities into actionable data and intelligence solutions. The role integrates commercial, operational, financial, customer, and market insights to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers, ensuring leaders have access to trusted intelligence that supports forecasting, planning, prioritization, and executive decision-making.
As a Manager, Commercial Intelligence, you will:- Lead the development and execution of the Commercial Data Strategy.
- Establish and manage the roadmap for commercial data products, metrics, reporting capabilities, and intelligence products.
- Translate business priorities and questions into data, analytical, reporting, and intelligence requirements.
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, IT, Data, and Analytics teams to define requirements and guide delivery of intelligence solutions.
- Design and oversee the Commercial reporting ecosystem, including dashboards, scorecards, executive reporting, and forecasting inputs.
- Establish common metrics, reporting standards, and governance practices across the Commercial organization.
- Integrate commercial, operational, financial, customer, and market information to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Translate analysis into actionable insights and recommendations for business and executive audiences.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Commercial Intelligence team.
- Continuously improve the quality, relevance, and impact of commercial intelligence products.
This is the role for you, if you have: - 3+ years of experience in Commercial Intelligence, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, Business Operations, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Management Consulting, Product Management, or related fields.
- Experience developing or supporting data strategies, reporting ecosystems, performance measurement frameworks, or business intelligence capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business questions into actionable insights.
- Experience working cross-functionally to align stakeholders, define priorities, and deliver solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or advanced Excel.
- Experience with performance management, forecasting, planning, market intelligence, or benchmarking is considered an asset.
- Leadership experience through people management, coaching, project leadership, or cross-functional initiatives.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
