Full Job Description
As the Manager, CFO Advisory Services, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, CEOs, and CFOs across a diverse client portfolio. You will lead strategic financial engagements involving budgeting, forecasting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), cash flow management, and financial modeling.

This role combines financial leadership, client relationship management, business advisory, and practice development. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to help organizations improve financial performance, scalability, and operational decision-making.

What you'll do at SN:
Client Advisory & Financial Leadership


  • Serve as the primary financial advisor for assigned clients
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, FP&A, and financial modeling engagements
  • Facilitate executive-level client meetings and present financial insights and recommendations
  • Identify financial risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement
  • Develop integrated financial models connecting P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow impacts

Strategic Analysis & Business Support

  • Translate complex financial data into clear, executive-ready insights
  • Support clients with growth planning, profitability improvement, and operational scalability
  • Provide strategic guidance around working capital, liquidity, and financial performance metrics

Practice Growth & Business Development

  • Participate in prospect meetings, discovery calls, and solution design discussions
  • Identify opportunities to expand client services and deepen relationships
  • Collaborate with leadership and marketing on thought leadership initiatives and service enhancements

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor and support advisory consultants and analysts as the practice continues to grow
  • Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction
  • Contribute to process improvements, service innovation, and scalable advisory methodologies

What it takes to be aManager, CFO Advisory Services:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in CFO advisory, FP&A, financial consulting, or corporate finance leadership
  • Experience advising executive leadership teams, including CEOs, CFOs, or business owners
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills
  • Strong project management and client relationship management capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, MBA, CMA, CFP, or related professional credential
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or advisory environments
  • Industry experience supporting Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) firms preferred
  • Familiarity with Deltek platforms including Vision, Vantagepoint, Ajera, or Costpoint
  • Experience supporting business development and practice growth initiatives

Salary: The salary range for this position is an estimate of $140,000 - $165,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual's skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
