WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As Manager, QTS Advisory, you will join Capital Markets Finance in a highly visible role supporting Quantitative & Technology Services (QTS), the team responsible for Capital Markets' technology needs. You will partner closely with QTS leadership and Capital Markets stakeholders, providing forward-looking financial insights and advice that influence technology spend, resourcing, investments and project prioritization. This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional reporting and build deep knowledge of Capital Markets technology costs while contributing to strategic decision-making. The role is well suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment, enjoys solving complex financial problems and wants to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders while making a meaningful impact.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Prepare financial insights and executive-level reporting for senior management forums to support decisions on investments, hiring and cost management.
  • Perform forecasting, planning and select month-end close activities for QTS and Capital Markets technology costs.
  • Develop driver-based financial analysis across technology spend, resourcing, Work Month Rates, and Capital vs. NIE to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Build subject matter expertise across key cost lines and identify opportunities to support cost optimization and strategic business decisions.
  • Create and enhance scalable financial reporting, analytics and models that provide multiple perspectives on Capital Markets technology costs.
  • Partner closely with QTS leadership, T&O Finance, CM Advisory teams and Capital Markets businesses, responding to ad-hoc requests and providing actionable financial advice.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:
  • CPA designation.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, management reporting, forecasting/planning and business advisory within a complex organization.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and work effectively across teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, combined with strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and capacity to manage high-pressure executive requests.


Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in Capital Markets, wholesale banking or broader financial services, with an understanding of financial markets, products and associated risks and returns.
  • Experience supporting technology application development, technology portfolios, or technology cost management.
  • Experience with financial resource optimization, including technology spend, resourcing, capital and/or funding, and exposure to data mining or business intelligence tools.
