What is the opportunity?
  • Connect RBCx's core business goals directly to data-driven decision-making, ensuring analytics work translates into measurable business results.
  • Monitor and track portfolio performance metrics across business segments like Mydoh and other commercial banking teams, including generating regular reporting on portfolio health, trends, and key performance indicators, identifying and escalating portfolio risks or performance anomalies for management review
  • Conduct performance evaluations against established benchmarks and targets. Move beyond reporting to deliver tailored analyses (segmentation, modeling, dashboards) that directly address business priorities and drive competitive advantage.
  • Create lasting stakeholder relationships across RBCx and partner organizations to achieve exceptional business results. Collaborate with RBCx and/or RBC partners to understand core business goals and help achieve results through a data driven approach.
  • Design and conduct analyses using various techniques (developing frameworks, dashboarding, segmentation, modeling) to provide value for stakeholders.
  • Communicate approaches & insights effectively to influence decision making at senior leadership levels.


What do you need to succeed?

Must have:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an analytical function (e.g. Business Analytics, Consulting).
  • 2+ years of SQL (for analyses & creating reports) with additional experience in predictive analytics (R, Python, etc.).
  • Experience with complex, large-scale relational databases, and statistical programs, with an aptitude to adapt and implement additional technical applications or tools
  • Experience managing data tools/platforms and hosting team-based knowledge sharing sessions
  • Proven track record of communicating analytics and Machine Learning results back to business partners and/or C-level.
  • Ability to inform and influence stakeholders cross-functionally through data, building relationships, while communicating early and often

  • Business acumen, curiosity, good communication, and strong technical skills.


Nice to have:
  • Experience publishing reports/dashboards, and visualizations with Tableau or Power BI is a big plus.
  • Leadership experience (in direct and/or indirect reporting capacity).
  • University degree in a quantitative field of study (e.g., statistics, economics, analytics)
