Manager, Nationals Partnerships Account Management
Overview:
The National Accounts organization is seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Account Manager to support and grow the relationship with a large, strategically important National Account.
As a Manager, Nationals Partnerships Account Management, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, developing a strong understanding of their business priorities and challenges and connecting those needs to Mastercard's products, services, technology and data.
This role is ideal for a collaborative, curious and results-oriented professional with experience in payments, banking, technology, consulting or financial services. The successful candidate will combine strong relationship management, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
Role:
As an Account Manager, you will:
• Own and grow relationships with large National Accounts, serving as a strategic partner to key customer stakeholders.
• Develop and execute account plans that align customer priorities with Mastercard's growth objectives.
• Identify opportunities to deepen partnerships, drive Mastercard preference and deliver incremental revenue and payment volume.
• Develop QBRs, reporting and insights that translate customer and industry data into clear recommendations.
• Leverage Mastercard's products, services, technology, data and capabilities to identify solutions that address customer needs.
• Manage partnership performance and ensure key business and financial objectives are achieved.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, bringing together teams across Mastercard to deliver solutions and achieve shared goals.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across product, strategy, marketing, fraud, operations, technology and other key functions.
• Engage with customer stakeholders and influence decisions by clearly articulating Mastercard's differentiated value.
• Proactively identify emerging customer needs, industry trends and opportunities for Mastercard to support customer growth.
About You:

• Have experience in account management, strategic sales, consulting, banking, payments, technology or financial services.
• Have a proven track record of developing relationships and influencing stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong commercial and strategic thinking, with experience identifying and delivering growth opportunities.
• Are highly analytical and can translate data, trends and market insights into actionable recommendations.
• Have strong communication, presentation and project management skills.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of AI tools and capabilities and the ability to leverage AI to strengthen account strategies and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
• Can effectively lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
• Are comfortable navigating complex organizations and managing multiple priorities.
• Can quickly understand Mastercard's products and capabilities and connect them to customer business needs.
• Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, resilience and a strong bias toward action.
• Are collaborative and motivated by creating meaningful outcomes for both customers and Mastercard.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
