Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting Ship Design Manager and Mission Systems IPT Lead for CVN Refueling and Complex Overhaul RCOH (ACAT 1D) Program.
- Coordinate analysis briefs, review and comment on required documentation to correct deficiencies or to effect other changes.
- Coordinate the Mission Systems Virtual Technical Assessment Team (VTAT) review of Ship Change Documents (SCDs) using Navy Data Environment (NDE) Navy Modernization (NM) Entitled Process
- Coordinate the Mission Systems review of Electronic Liaison Action Records (eLARs) using the Naval Sea Logistics Center (NSLC)
- Track and distribute all incoming CVN Mission Systems Action Items which contain, but not limited to Design Liaison Action Request (DLARs), Electronic Liaison Action Records (eLARs), AWP Modifications, SCD TAT Reviews, Ship Installation Drawings (SID) Reviews, Installation Control Drawings (ICD) Reviews, GFI/Contract Guidance Drawings (CGDs) to the appropriate Technical Leads (TLs) using the NSERC and iNAVSEA Share Point site.
- Track all recommendations sent for Availability Work Package (AWP) additions, deletions, and changes after MOD Lock via the Configuration Change Board (CCB) for implementation into the RCOH work package.
- Attend various Mission Systems meetings, such as AWP Reviews, NNS/NNSY Design Exchanges, IPTs and CCB meetings and develop meeting minutes as required.
- Maintain contract deliverables and provide weekly Action Item status/metrics and monthly progress reports to the Mission Systems IPT Lead and the Ship Design Managers.
- Contribute to the development of new concepts techniques and standards for process improvement.
- Determine customer requirements and translate these requirements into training and or organizational plans.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10+ years of engineering supporting US Navy programs and/or operations
- Experience staffing products and communicating with senior leadership (military and civilian)
- Excellent communications and analytical skills; able to meet with program officials and develop and implement actions needed to meet program milestones.
- Proficient with MS Office products i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Active Secret Clearance
Desired:
- Experience supporting US Navy or active-duty Navy experience
- Familiarity with NAVSEA, PEO IWS, and NAWCAD organizations

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$75,200 - 158,100 USD
