Position Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance department, overseeing equipment selection, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This role ensures the reliability and efficiency of plant operations by developing and optimizing maintenance processes. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager is accountable for budget administration, capital projects, and cost control strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Lead the selection, evaluation, and implementation of new equipment to optimize production processes
  • Oversee and continuously improve maintenance processes, including predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Manage the department's financial budget, including operational expenses and capital improvement projects.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives related to maintenance operations and energy efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership teams to support business goals.
  • Analyze maintenance data and KPI's to drive performance improvements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance supervisors and technicians to enhance team capabilities.


Required Education & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance leadership, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven experience in equipment selection, maintenance optimization, and process improvements.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control experience.
  • Proficiency in CMMS, predictive maintenance technologies, and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of industry safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
