This position will be filled a highly motivated Maintenance Controller with a passion for developmental flight test of the new and revolutionary Fury CCA, You will have experience performing maintenance test lead/manager responsibilities. Your primary responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance schedule to ensure that the Group 5 UAS and all associated equipment are at peak operational readiness. This role involves meticulous planning and execution of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, adhering to rigorous safety standards and DCMA 8210.1D guidelines. You will also coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth testing operations, manage on-site inventory of parts and tools, and ensure that all maintenance activities are thoroughly documented and reported. Effective communication and leadership are critical, as you will need to call on your maintenance background to assist and sometimes lead complex troubleshooting and repairs, while also providing technical expertise to support ongoing test missions. Your ability to proactively identify potential issues and implement strategic solutions will be key to maintaining the integrity, safety, and success of the test site operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO- Direct and manage all maintenance schedules for Fury to ensure aircraft are mission-capable in accordance with customer, Anduril and other applicable standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules in alignment with flight operations to optimize aircraft availability and minimize downtime.
- Ensure thorough documentation and reporting of maintenance activities, including adherence to contractual requirements for monthly status reports.
- Oversee the management of maintenance logs, records, and reports in accordance with contract requirements.
- Cross-train personnel as mission coordinators, system operators, and maintainers, fostering a versatile and knowledgeable team.
- Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies; liaise with suppliers and procurement to ensure availability of necessary materials.
- Liaise with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot complex issues and implement corrective measures.
- Active participation in the review and authoring of technical publications, ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and alignment with mission requirements and maintenance protocols.
- Serve as a point of contact for the customer, DCMA officials, and other stakeholders regarding maintenance matters.
- Maintain a strong safety culture by conducting regular briefings and enforcing compliance with all safety regulations.
- Participate in program reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Chair Maintenance planning meetings, provide clear communication on system statuses and completion statuses/timelines for maintenance actions
- Participate in program reviews and audits, ensuring maintenance activities support the overarching goals and requirements of the program.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior service technicians and mechanics.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Able to travel as required.
- Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; or >8 years experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities. Including managing large teams.
- Proficient with computer use (standard browser, word processing applications).
- Familiarity with military maintenance protocols, DCMA instructions, and aviation industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with military personnel and civilian contractors.
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast paced, challenging work environment.
- Experience with UAS maintenance functions, including servicing, repairing, conducting preventive maintenance, and inspecting actions for both airborne and ground systems.
- In this role, you will be subject to pre-employment and randomized substance screening, as required by the Company.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- A&P license with Inspection Authorization is highly desirable.
- >15 years maintenance experience
- 5+ years management experience
- 5+ years of developmental test experience
- Experience in developing and conducting technical training for maintenance personnel.
- In-depth knowledge of DCMA 8210.1D regulations and military maintenance standards.
US Salary Range
$112,000-$149,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
