- DFM reviews and simulation of complex mechanical and electronics designs
- Drive the consolidation and architecture of the manufacturing BOM (Bill of Materials) in partnership with Quality and Manufacturing to ensure seamless ramp-up internally and externally
- Manage CapEx budgets and tooling investments throughout NPI, optimizing tool design, lifecycle durability, and capacity scaling
- Conduct value-stream mapping across key commodity lines to eliminate bottlenecks, compress lead times, and optimize supply flexibility
- Lead comprehensive BOM risk assessments, dual-sourcing initiatives, and alternate component strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply continuity
- Drive the execution of supplier readiness reviews, First Article Inspections (FAIs), and technical component qualifications ahead of production ramp
- Drive continuous platform complexity reduction through component commonality optimization and strategic supplier rationalization
- Proactively manage global supply economics, including raw material indices, tariffs, logistics costs, and inflationary pressures
