What You'll Do Day-To-Day- Examine equipment to diagnose trouble and affect repairs or replacement of broken parts and adjusts functional parts of equipment as required.
- Adhere to established industry and safety practices.
- Inspect completed work and ensure that work conforms to requirements of local building and safety codes. WAC [redacted]3 and WAC [redacted]2.
- Washington State (or equivalent) 01, 07, or 06A Electrical License
- Electrical troubleshooting (advanced) aptitude
- Significant knowledge of experience with electrical safety
- Able to demonstrate aptitude for electrical safety in an industrial manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of relevant industrial electric codes and standards
- Experience with HVAC or Fire alarm systems is a plus
What You'll Bring- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Post high school education preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in an industrial or commercial maintenance background.
- Trade school education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
- Preferred: General 01 or 07 journeyman license with the State of WA.
- Ability to follow and carry out written and oral instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment operation experience.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including rotating shift assignment.
- Ability to function well as a member of the work team.
