Job Summary
The Mainframe Developer will develop, implement, manage, and support solutions using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL, with extensive expertise in FIS Core Banking Systems. The role will be responsible for system management, SDLC-based development, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and technical team oversight throughout project lifecycles. The developer will collaborate with stakeholders and adapt priorities based on evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL solutions following SDLC methodologies.
• Utilize expert-level knowledge of FIS Core Banking Systems, including RM, GN, IM, AM, and SC.
• Manage and support FIS Core Banking Systems and related technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and technical problems across relevant technologies.
• Analyze incidents proactively and implement appropriate resolutions.
• Direct and oversee technical teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Adjust priorities quickly based on changing business and technical needs.
• Present findings, analyses, and technical information clearly and concisely.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational effectiveness throughout development and support activities.
Required Qualifications
• 12-15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with FIS Core Banking Systems, including RM, GN, IM, AM, and SC.
• Proven experience with troubleshooting and problem resolution in relevant technologies.
• Experience developing and implementing solutions using SDLC methodologies.
• Ability to manage technical responsibilities across complex project lifecycles.
