About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to support mission-critical applications within a Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) environment. The successful candidate will develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications running on IBM z/OS platforms while supporting modernization initiatives.
IMPORTANT NOTE - BFSI EXPERIENCE REQUIREDCandidates must have recent experience working within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Payments, Lending, Credit Unions, Mortgage Services, or FinTech organizations.Experience supporting core banking applications, transaction processing systems, customer account platforms, payment systems, loan servicing applications, or policy administration platforms is mandatory.
Candidates without BFSI industry experience will not be considered.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications.
- Support CICS online transaction processing systems.
- Develop and optimize DB2 database programs.
- Create and maintain JCL batch jobs.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support.
- Participate in application enhancements and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise development standards.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of Mainframe Development experience.
- Strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
- Experience with IBM z/OS environments.
- Experience supporting financial systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
