Compensation: $100,000-$115,000 annually
POSITION SUMMARYAs an M&A Associate for Cardone Ventures, you will be responsible for drafting investment deal summaries that outline key transaction highlights, risks, and insights. Your role will be to analyze pro forma and historical financial statements, and generate valuations by entering the data into Bizequity, a valuation software platform.

Empowering clients and internal stakeholders with a deep understanding of the M&A process by delivering clear, comprehensive education on valuation techniques, deal structuring, and integration strategies, ensuring clients are confident and informed throughout each stage of the transaction.
OBJECTIVES- Analyze pro-forma and historical financials statements and valuation models
- Support all functions to review due diligence materials and examine for "red flags", issues, and resolutions
- Draft reports outlining key transaction highlights, risks, and insights based on the due diligence
- Lead multiple M&A transactions with precision, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to execute each phase of the deal lifecycle efficiently, while consistently exceeding timelines and expectations
- Support contract negotiations by assisting in the preparation of documents related to proposed transactions including due diligence findings, results and summaries
- Conduct research and analysis to screen and qualify potential M&A opportunities
- Keeps M&A pipeline up to date in close coordination with senior management
- Assist in preparing investment presentations, deal sourcing, and deal structuring
- Lead efforts to engage potential Clients for 10X Buy/Sell Services and/or Business Acquisition Club
- Lead support for both 10X Buy/Sell and Business Acquisition Club Clients through their Acquisition journey
- Identify and drive process improvements to drive a more efficient M&A lifecycle, and to track Life After The Deal success
- Research industry M&A trends and best practices, constantly tracking and communicating them in order to ensure continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of CV's and its clients M&A activities
COMPETENCIES- Knowledge of the financial or investment management industry
- Experience communicating investment objectives
- Basic knowledge of the M&A industry
- Knowledge of GAAP/Accounting
- Ability to build financial models
- Comfortable with presenting financial information to leadership in a concise manner
- Ability to make presentations to investors via video conference
- Knowledge of the sales process and ability to follow up with potential clients
- Ability to read and evaluate financial statements
- Basic knowledge of the private equity focused investments
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or similar field
- At least two years' financial sales experience
